Passing the
Gavel - New GLLIG Board was Announced
During October 12 and
November 2, the Great Lakes LIG is held a Call for Nominations for the
President and Secretary positions. Each position was uncontested and thus no election was
held.

MSU Information Systems Program
& Portfolio Management Study Published
Michigan State
University PhD candidate, Brandis Phillips, has concluded his study of
Information Systems Program & Portfolio Management. The purpose of the study was to
determine the extent to which organizations utilize portfolio, program and
IT management practices, as well as, measure attitudes towards IS value,
risk, complexity and effectiveness.
Mr. Phillips dissertation is planned for December 2007 completion.
Mr. Phillips granted permission to publish the study.
